He obtained special training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, all of which inform his treatment approach for every individual patient.

He has worked extensively in neurology in hospital settings. This gives him a strong foundation for accurate diagnosis. He obtained comprehensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD and psychosis and has worked extensively with a wide range of traumatized individuals from children to war veterans. He is well aware of the role that illicit drugs play in the development of many psychiatric disorders.

Treatment involves psychotherapy with the introduction of medication only where necessary.
